KeptInformed enables users to obtain insight by exchanging feedback. The key aspects of our approach to privacy are:

Who owns my information?

If you give feedback to another user, the feedback belongs to you. If you receive feedback, the feedback belongs to the user who gave the feedback. Other information you submit belongs to you.

Who sees my connections?

  • Connections to colleagues are visible to other users within your organizational group.
  • Connections to clients are visible to other users above you in your organizational group.
  • Connections may be visible to other users, either through an approved KeptInformed feature or for reasons outside of our control.

Who sees my feedback?

  • Users can see feedback given by managers and clients.
  • Users can see feedback given by reports and co-workers in aggregated format if there are at least three responders.
  • Users above you in your organizational group can see feedback you receive from clients.
  • Other users may be able to view your feedback, either through an approved KeptInformed feature or for reasons outside of our control.

How is my information shared with third parties

We will only provide your personal information to third parties:

  • with your consent;
  • where it is needed to carry out your instructions;
  • as reasonably needed to provide you with KeptInformed features and functionality;
  • as we reasonably believe is permitted by law or regulation; or
  • as needed to enforce our Terms or protect the rights, property or safety of KeptInformed, our users and the public.
  • as part of a sale or change in control of Cudepro Pty Ltd, its shareholders or a subsidiary or division.

Are safeguards in place?

Personal information provided to KeptInformed is controlled by Cudepro Pty. Ltd, Suite 259, 585 Little Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 Australia.

Access to your data is password-protected, we encrypt sensitive data and we offer secure https access to the website. To protect data you store on our servers, we regularly monitor for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. The internet is not a 100% secure environment and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of information that you submit to us. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your sign-in information.

We may share your personal information with other KeptInformed affiliates as necessary to provide you with services.

2. Information Collected

When we collect information

  • When registering with KeptInformed to create an account
  • When giving feedback to a user.
  • When a user uses KeptInformed, contacts KeptInformed or updates their profile or account settings
  • At other times when we believe it is reasonable to do so

Information we collect

  • We collect information upon account creation, including First Name, Last Name, Email and Password.
  • We collect information to build your profile and display when requesting feedback, such as gender, country of residence and company name.
  • We sometimes need to collect information when you request feedback so that we can contact the other party in the exchange.
  • We may collect other information, which if collected will only be used for reasons as set out in this Privacy Policy.
  • Introducing new features to our Service in future may result in the collection of additional information.

Collection of device and network information

When you visit or leave our site, we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came or the one to which you are directed. We also receive the IP address of your computer or the proxy server that you use to access the web, your computer operating system details and your type of web browser and ISP. If using a mobile device, we receive your device details including its identifier, operating system and mobile carrier.

Providing a service to you

Your personal information enables us to provide you with appropriate features and functionality and to customize your experience.

Communicating with you

We may communicate with you through email, notices posted within your KeptInformed account, and other available means. You may change your contact preferences at any time but you cannot opt out of receiving important service messages.

Communicating with other users

Some service features (for example, requesting or giving feedback) disclose information such as your name, email and company name to another user. Other users can see your basic profile information, so that they can locate you to request feedback.

4. Your Choices and Obligations

Giving and receiving feedback

Be aware that any feedback you give or receive using the Service can be read and used by others directly or in aggregated format depending on the nature of their connection to you and other factors. You are responsible for the feedback you choose to give to other users.

Managing your information

You can manage your information at any time within your account. You can also ask us for additional information we may have about your account.

Deactivating your account is generally effective within 24 hours. We usually delete deactivated account information and will de-personalize feedback, logs and other backup information within seven days of account deactivation, except as noted below.

Information you shared with others (for example, giving feedback) or that others have copied may remain visible after deletion or deactivation.

We retain personal information you provide while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you Services. We may retain this information after you have deactivated your account if retention is reasonably necessary to comply with legal and other obligations.

Respecting our Terms and fellow users

  • You must at all times abide by our Terms, including this Privacy Policy and other policies.
  • You must not give or request feedback in a manner that may harass or infringe on the rights of others or which may be deemed to be injurious, violent, offensive, racist, xenophobic, or which may otherwise violate the purpose and spirit of KeptInformed and our users.
  • You must not impersonate others, provide misleading profile information including your name, job title or company name, or mislead other users.
  • You must keep your password confidential and not share it with others.

Any violation may lead to the restriction, suspension, or termination of your account at the sole discretion of KeptInformed.

5. Other Information

The current version of our Privacy Policy is available on our website. If we make significant changes we will provide notice to you on the Service. Continuing to use the Service means that you consent to the changes.
